…and more
In addition, JSDD has established an active grassroots advocacy network. This growing coalition of caring individuals monitors legislative initiatives and coordinates activities to keep the needs of individuals and families coping with developmental disabilities on the community agenda.
Many agencies within the MetroWest Jewish community are responsive to various needs of people with disabilities. To ensure coordination of services, a Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) meets on a regular basis to identify needs, develop and coordinate services for special populations. The PAC is comprised of professionals from partner agencies of United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ.
JSDD is also a member of the New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP).
