Support JSDD Homes

JSDD maintains and operates fifteen (15) homes in MetroWest in Essex and Morris Counties with the capacity to support fifty (50) individuals requiring 24-hour assistance and support to live as independently as possible as part of their communities. The agency is responsible for maintaining each of those homes as healthy and safe environments in keeping with the highest of standards in furnishings and amenities.

Eleven (11) of those sites belong to the agency and major maintenance (roofing, driveways, bathroom and kitchen renovations, HVAC systems, etc.) must be factored into the operations of those homes as they need to be replaced and updated.

Opportunities to support the maintenance, safety and beautification efforts are available to our generous donors as we present special projects for “sprucing up” the interior spaces for the men and women who calls these houses “HOME.”

• Maplewood Supervised Apartment – Kitchen Renovation planned for the summer 2022: $28,000
• Passaic Ave. Group Home new 1st Floor Bathroom planned for the spring 2022: $18,000
• Millburn Group Home Bathroom Replacement to a Walk-In Tub: $6,500 – Purchase and Installation
