On Sunday, November 4th, 2018, Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled of Metrowest, a not-for-profit social service provider, hosted a fundraising gala and art exhibit opening, “Doorways to Infinite Possibility”. At this special event, Livingston Deputy Mayor, Alfred Anthony, and Barry R. Mandelbaum were honored for his tremendous contribution on behalf of people with special needs and their families in Livingston.
The township of Livingston composes a history of including people with special needs and its school, recreation programs and community. We strongly believe that leaders like Al Anthony and Barry Mandelbaum are crucial in guiding Livingston to being a fully inclusive town. While Al is an extraordinary public servant who has demonstrated his commitment to his belief that communities are made whole when all members are included, Barry has been revered for being a great leader, providing friendship to all and always standing up for what is right. We are forever grateful to both of these amazing individuals, not only for their endless contribution but also their dedication and commitment to the community as well as the people with special needs.
