On Sunday, April 26th Hagit Oren, Judaic Coordinator held a Zoom Chavurah Class. The class was interactive as Hagit played songs and showed educational clips from YouTube as a way to teach. The participants learnt about Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah), Israeli Memorial Day (Yom HaZikaron), a national remembrance day observed in Israel for all Israeli military personnel who lost their lives in the struggle that led to the establishment of the State of Israel, and Israel Independence Day which occurred on May 14, 1948.
Hagit said all the participants were engaged in learning and were excited to see each other on Zoom!
