JSDD participates as a founding member of the MetroWest ABLE initiative.
WHAT is MetroWest ABLE?
MetroWest ABLE is a network of community leaders and professionals that work together to advocate for and support individuals and families with special needs. Together we engage our families, synagogues and local agencies in creating a community that is accessible to all members.
MetroWest ABLE envisions a MetroWest community that is made whole through the active and meaningful participation of all of its members, with opportunities for access to every aspect of Jewish life.
Partner agencies participating supporting individuals with special needs and their families in the MetroWest community include Daughters of Israel, Friendship Circle, Jewish Community Center, Jewish Family Service, Jewish Vocational Service, JESPY House, Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled, Joint Chaplaincy Committee, The Partnership for Jewish Learning and Life.
