The Livingston Group Home girls were very engaged in creating their masterpieces while at home during the quarantine! 

JSDD’s Parsippany Group Home received a donation of N95 Masks, monogoogles, and boxes of gloves from the Morris County Office of Emergency Management.  It is incredible how the community is pulling together to take care of their own!  

 Philly Pretzel Factory in Clifton, New Jersey generously made a donation for the JSDD Direct Support Professionals – DSP of freshly baked delicious pretzels!   JSDD would not be able to carry out our mission without our dedicated and compassionate DSP’s.  They continue to provide around the clock care and support to the residents in our homes during these unprecedented times. The Pretzel Factory was thankful for the continued support from the community allowing them to keep their doors open, so they wanted to give back!  It was important for them to support the workers on the front lines of the battle of the Coronavirus. The May 12th Gala, Taking Care of Our Own, A Night Honoring Ellen Goldner will be rescheduled in the spring of 2021 because of the pandemic. The evolving Coronavirus situation is a challenge unlike any we have ever faced. All of us at JSDD, including our administrative team, direct support professionals and Board of Trustees hope you, your immediate and extended family are healthy and taking extra care of yourselves during these unprecedented times. JSDD Residential and WAE Center Update Thanks to all who continue to express their concern for the men and women served by JSDD.  Sixty (60) WAE Center members are either home with their families every day or at home all day in a JSDD or other agency Residence – just like many of us.  Everyone continues to receive the assistance and support they need.  We are making every effort to: maintain a stimulating and meaningful daily routine for all residents support the individuals who reside at home with their families continue to employ as many of our remarkable, hard working and talented staff as possible by re-deploying them in our homes or by assisting in members’ homes Many have responded […]
