WAE Center News

JSDD’s WAE Center Art Studio Manager, Harry Klein, and Monica Schneider-Brewer celebrate the work of artist Maria Fontanez, whose photograph “PhebeMaria” was selected for the “disconnected” Exhibit at the Arts Council of the Morris Area. We congratulate all of the selected artists, as their work is truly moving. Exhibits by the Arts Council of the Morris Area,  are consistently cohesive in the way they are curated. Make it a point to get to the exhibit and experience first-hand this thought-provoking show. The exhibit is open to the public Mondays-Thursdays from 10am to 4pm and on Fridays from 10am to 1pm and by appointment, and will remain on display until September 5, 2012.  Visit www.morrisarts.org or call (973) 285-5115 for additional information.

We are delighted that work by two WAE Center member artists is included in this exhibit, which has invited visual commentary about how people, places, and things can be uniquely connected, disconnected, or both at the same time.
