WAE Center

We got back to our friends at SOPAC (https://www.sopacnow.org/gallery/) to see the “Convergence” exhibit, on display September 12th through November 3rd.  WAE Center ally and gallery curator Jeremy Moss, met us to take us through the show.  The work was done by 2 sisters and it was one of the largest exhibits ever hung in the space.  Abstract and inspiring, we took time onsite after the tour, to come up with some of our own artwork.  With Kind Regards, Harry Klein, WAE Center Art Studio Manager

In continuing our exploration of art during “Prehistoric” times….the Creativity Class instructed by Faye introduced members to the challenge of creating art without using inks or paints.  By employing different flowers, herbs and leaves the members created colorful imprints by using rocks to smash them onto various canvases – including different papers and cloth.  Members were really excited with this project.
