Join JSDD’s WAE Center at a festive opening reception – June 9th for the ARTS Unbound “Beatlemania” exhibit “The Blue Meanies,” three pieces of digital art work by WAE Center member Carrie P. have been selected for the ARTS Unbound’s “Beatlemania,” exhibit. The show opens on June 9th with a 3 – 5 p.m. reception and remains until early July. Carrie and the artists represented in this show have explored the lyrics and characters created by the Beatles and used their own vision to create an artistic reflection for this unique show. JSDD’s WAE Center Art Studio Manager, Harry Klein, and Monica Schneider-Brewer celebrate the work of artist Maria Fontanez, whose photograph “PhebeMaria” was selected for the “disconnected” Exhibit at the Arts Council of the Morris Area. We congratulate all of the selected artists, as their work is truly moving. Exhibits by the Arts Council of the Morris Area,  are consistently cohesive in the way they are curated. Make it a point to get to the exhibit and experience first-hand this thought-provoking show.
