WAE Center Day Trip to George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University

We were thrilled to experience the work of Elizabeth Streb at the George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University (https://www.montclair.edu/galleries/).  In addition to being led through the exhibit “EXTREME: The PopAction Performance Art of Elizabeth Streb” by Art Gallery Education Coordinator Adam Swart, we also got to take in close to 30 minutes of a rehearsal that the troupe was having.  Alive, electric, dangerous, physical, and exciting the company tests the bounds of performance and extreme action in their performances.  Definitely check them out if get the opportunity: https://streb.org/

With kind regards,

Harry Klein, WAE Center Art Studio Manager
