Kudos to WAE Volunteers!

On 06/29/2023, we celebrated our extraordinary cadre of volunteers with a luncheon. It was a joyous occasion filled with warmth and camaraderie. The event provided a platform for our members to actively participate in creating a memorable experience for each volunteer. Members embraced their roles as greeters, servers, and bartenders, fostering an atmosphere of inclusion and unity. The luncheon provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to meet and learn more about the work that each is doing here at the WAE Center, cultivating a sense of community that is at the core of our mission. These exceptional individuals have dedicated their time, energy, and hearts to supporting our community, and we are truly blessed to have them here.

During the luncheon, we explored collaborations and discussed the potential for amazing partnerships in the future. The creativity and talent within our community knows no bounds, and together with our volunteers, we are destined to achieve remarkable things.

After our delectable lunch, we invited the group downstairs for a series of heartfelt presentations. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as mocktails and hors d’oeuvres, carefully crafted by our cooking class members, were passed around. Members eagerly demonstrated their appreciation through various artistic expressions, including poetry, song, handmade gifts and spoken word.

To our amazing volunteers, please know that your dedication, compassion, and expertise have made an immeasurable difference in the lives of our community members. Your selflessness and commitment inspire us all to embrace our own potential and to spread kindness wherever we go.

We are forever grateful for the gifts you share, the time you invest, and the love you pour into our center. The WAE Center is truly a better place because of you. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
